Measure your shoulders tip to tip and choose a size with a finished shoulder width approx. 10”/25.5 cm larger.

20 sts/30 rows = 4”/10 cm with US 6/4 mm needles in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
30 sts/30 rnds = 4”/10 cm with US 6/4 mm needles in 2×2 rib in the rnd, after blocking.
Cable panel = 4”/10 cm wide with US 6/4 mm needles, after blocking.

Approx. 6 (7, 7, 7, 8, 8) {9, 9, 9, 10, 10} (10, 11, 11, 12) skeins of Origins by Tarndie 8-ply/DK (100% Polwarth wool; 197 yds/180 m per 100 g skein).
The sample used approx 7 skeins.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
2 sets of US 6/4mm circular needles 16”/40 cm and 32”/80 cm.
US 6/4 mm & US 5/3.75 mm needles for knitting small circumferences.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
8 stitch markers (1 removable), cable needle, scrap yarn or spare needle for provisional cast-on, waste yarn or stitch holder, yarn needle.
