To fit head sizes: small 19-20”/48-51 cm (medium 21-22”/53.5-56 cm, large 23-24”/58.5-61 cm).
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Brim circumference: 17 (19, 21)”/43 (48.25, 53.25) cm; blocked and unstretched.
Length from base of brim to top centre of crown: 8.5”/21.5 cm.
GAUGE
22 sts and 30 rnds = 4”/10 cm with US 6/4 mm needle in stockinette stitch after wet blocking.
1 rep of “lace & cable panel” (chart 1) with US 6/4 mm needle = 5⅛”/13 cm wide (27 sts) and 2”/5 cm high (16 rnds)
YARN
1 (1, 2) skeins of Naturally Hand Knit Yarns Amuri (75% pure NZ Merino/25% Possum) 170 yds/155 m per 50 g skein in colourway 2021.
If substituting yarn: approx. 153 (170, 185) yds/140 (155, 170) m of DK yarn.
