As the temperature cools and our attention turns inwards towards steaming cups of tea and armfuls of yarn, it might seem that we burn less brightly to the outside. But it’s just at this time, as our warm weather blaze appears to fade, a tiny creative gem within spurs to life and starts to really glow.

Embers is a stunning colourwork DK cardigan (using just two colours per round) for days when our sparks of creativity smoulder brightly. She’s knitted from the top-down and in the round, then steeked up the centre front to form a cardigan.

A helpful Embers colouring-in page for playing with colours is included inside, and charted instructions for the colourwork.

Suitable for newer sweater knitters with a burning desire to “have a go”, as well as experienced knitters, Embers is your new favourite winter knit.
