Your Truly Myrtle knits are gorgeous! We love seeing photos of them! It's inspiring to see how you make them yours by using fresh colour combos and new and exciting yarn and including modifications to the fit so they work perfectly for your shape. There's also something special about modelling your knits for the photos. It can feel weird and make us self-conscious, but for everyone who wants to see how your project looks and hangs and those who wish to inspect your yarn, it's fantastic to see a modelled knit. A photo with you in it brings everything to life.
Some of us are pom-pom people, and some of us are also pom-pom people. Seriously though, who doesn’t love a pom-pom? So cute, so fun and so brilliant at adding the final touch of pizzazz to your hat. If you’ve been dreaming of pom-poms or haven’t made one for a while, you might be pleased to know that pom-poms suit lots of hats, and they’re simple to make and attach.

This week I’m talking about my latest design release, our new knit-along, my upcoming trip to Skein Sisters in Sydney and leaving you with a good knitting tip.
I released a new, improved and expanded Mindful shawl pattern last week. I’m loving the new bigger version in the pattern and feel so pleased that the writing style, charts and little techniques I’ve added make the pattern even better than before!
