Welcome back to Episode 42! It’s been a shaky, wet week here in New Zealand!
I celebrated my birthday this week – here’s a link to the shop that sells the gorgeous necklace Mr Myrtle bought for me :)
SPOIL YOURSELF
Come join in the fun in the Ravelry group – there’s still time! Let us know what you’ve been doing to spoil yourself to be in the draw for lots more prizes.
A huge thank you to this weeks sponsors:
Jessica Gore from the Sweater Collective
Sally Oakley from Sally Ravels

NEW PODCASTS TO WATCH
I enjoyed a couple of video podcasts this week:
Do you have any favorites you can recommend?
EARTHQUAKE APPEALS
New Zealand suffered a huge earthquake this week. Kaikoura has been devasted by a 7.5 earthquake and Wellington and surrounding areas have endured shaking and terrible flooding. The Red Cross is offering amazing support but needs your help!
Support fundraisers supporting the Red Cross and earthquake victims :
- Zjuniper on Ravelry is auctioning a gorgeous shawl on Trade Me;
- Skeinz are offering their new Urban Sea Holly yarn for a super low price of NZ$3.95 and proceeds are being donated
- Outlaw Yarn is giving away a stunning wool blanket to someone who donates to Red Cross & emails Outlaw their receipt.
As usual, fabulous theme tune is “Casting On” by Mr Roberelli.
Ensure you’re signed up to the Truly Myrtle Minimag to stay in touch and get discounts on new pattern releases.
We’d love to see you in the Truly Myrtle Hangout on Facebook!
