Hello October! We’re talking about all things “local” this month – from our “local” yarn swap and fun local interviews to thoughts about finding our own style.
YARN SWAP
Are you signed up? Do I have your address? Check your Ravelry messages to see if I still need to hear from you.
Don’t forget to let your partner know your preferences in the Ravelry Group
TEACHING KNITTING
It’s wonderful watching little ones learn to knit – my youngest daughter has been learning this past week.
These needles are great for new knitters :)
YELLOW ROSES FOR CHARITY
Caroline (Clothesline Designs) has published a very pretty shawl this week and 75% of the proceeds are being donated to the charity MIND in memory of her friend.
Yellow Roses uses one skein of fingering and supports and very worthy cause.

Nicki’s thoughts on grown up dressing that’s fun really appealed to me
How do you feel about your style? Does your local enviroment /stage of life / emotional health impact what you wear? Come chat with me in the Ravelry group.
As usual the great theme song is “Casting On” by Mr Roberelli.
