It’s valentine’s week, so thought I’d have a giveaway!
I’ve been busy experimenting with making little bags lately. Bags to keep craft projects in, knitting bags, and some lovely handbags. I’ll show some of these creations off to you one day soon, but in the meantime, I’m giving one of my favourites to a lucky reader!
This little box bag is a super soft because it used to be a fine wool sweater. It has a very pretty, fuzzy halo.
It is lovely and roomy inside and measures 8 inches (20 cm) long and 4 1/2 inches (11cm) wide. It would be great size to keep your small knitting or crochet project in (or anything really!)
Don’t you love the chirpy little birds inside? I do!
In other news, I’ve been sewing like crazy these last few days, making a “signature outfit”. Project Run and Play is holding an open competition for the best signature look and I thought, “why not?!”
I’ve been following Jess’ blog Running with Scissors for ages and have enjoyed watching her sewing getting better and better. This year she’s been invited to be a designer on Project Run and Play and she is doing so very well! Yippee!! Go Jess!
I’ll pop back later in the week with my entry…only a long sleeved top to go and I’m scrabbling around for the right fabric!

The handle is useful for carrying it around, hanging it up, or pulling it out of your big bag, and it has a pull tab to make it easier to open.
